Senior Favorite Locations


Here are some of my favorite locations in the Colorado Springs Area

Sand Creek Trail


This location has gorgeous trees, big bridges and lots of grass fields. Sand Creek Trail is on the North Eastern side of Colorado Springs. The colors are best through the spring-fall season.

Fountain Creek Regional Trail


This location has tons of huge trees, trails, streams, pond, bridges and color in the fall. Fountain Creek is on the south side of Colorado Springs and is HUGE. There so much variety and is best through the spring-fall season. This location can work in the morning or evening.

Downtown Colorado Springs


Downtown allows for lots of background choices from colorful to white, beautiful steps. There's graffiti murals and teal walls and lots of brick to choose from. This session can be done morning or evening.

Paint Mines


Paint Mines is in Calhan about a 30-40 minute drive east of Colorado Springs. Its has gorgeous white rocks, colorful rocks and lots of fields and flowers depending on the time of year.

Red Rocks Open Space


This location has gorgeous trees, pretty red rocks and lots of grass fields. The colors are best through the spring-fall season.

Palmer Park


This location has gorgeous fields, rocks and incredible view of pikes peak. The colors are best through the spring-fall season.

Manitou Springs


This location has a Colorado Mountain town feel with lots of colors and textures.

Garden of the Gods


If you love the red rocks, Garden of the Gods is the place. This is perfect if you want iconic Colorado feel. This is on the West side of the city. Weekdays are much better due to high traffic on the weekends.

Rock Island Trail


This location has gorgeous trees, pretty rocks and lots of grass fields. Rock Island Trail is central Colorado Springs making it easy for you to get to anywhere you are. The colors are best through the spring-fall season.
